Amazon Music Celebrating Country Music Month With New Playlist and Exclusive Programming

Amazon Music is celebrating Country Music Month with its new "Neon Stars" playlist and a variety of exclusive programming highlighting major stars and rising acts all month long.

What's included? Dubbed "We Are Country," the month's programming kicked off this week with the introduction of Amazon Music's new playlist "Neon Star," which highlights artists whose careers launched on social media and showcases the future voices of country music. The playlist is updated weekly and curated by the genre’s most trusted tastemakers and can be streamed here.

In addition, Amazon Music will present a City Sessions livestream with Bailey Zimmerman on October 13 while Riley Green will star in the Breakthrough Live Takeover livestream on October 17 via the Amazon Music channel on Twitch. Amazon Music also has new country music to share, releasing Megan Moroney's cover of Chris Stapleton’s "What Are You Listening To? (Amazon Music Original)" on October 6.

What they're saying: "Neon Stars brings together artists who have made impressive imprints on both social media and culture," shared Emily Cohen Belote, principal music curator at Amazon Music. "The playlist is designed to go even bigger with both the country genre and a younger demographic. We’re thrilled to continue highlighting the artists that emerge from these spaces and super-serve their fans."
