Garth Brooks to Open Broadway Bar With a Concert on Black Friday

Garth Brooks' Broadway bar officially has an opening date, as well as some opening day entertainment from the man himself.

Come on in: Brooks announced on Monday that his bar, Friends in Low Places, will open up shop on Friday, November 24, and the singer will play one of his now-signature Dive Bar concerts at the venue. In a statement, Brooks shared, "How do you open a Friends in Low Places bar??? With a Garth concert! This is going to be off the chain. Black Friday, brand new bar, in the home of Country Music...Hollywood couldn't write a better script. I can NOT wait!"

Brooks' Dive Bar concerts were inspired by his duet with Blake Shelton, "Dive Bar," and have seen the stadium-selling superstar play intimate events at Joe’s on Weed Street in Chicago, Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace in Bakersfield and Gruene Hall in New Braunfels among other venues.

Fans can score tickets to the Friends in Low Places show by listening to Brooks' The BIG 615 station on his SEVENS Radio Network, which is on audio streaming platform TuneIn. The BIG 615 was launched earlier this year and has Storme Warren as its official voice.
