Live Nation’s Veeps Launches ‘All Access’ Subscription Service

Live Nation-owned concert streaming service Veeps has launched a subscription service dubbed "Veeps All Access," which will reportedly give its subscribers access to livestreamed shows on the platform as well as around 3,000 hours' worth of concert footage.

Another subscription? Veeps All Access is currently live in the U.S. and will cost $11.99 a month or $120 a year. The service will feature a mix of livestreams and on-demand content including "music documentaries, comedy specials, exclusive Veeps-only interviews, original content, talk shows, and select historical content." Two original content series have already been announced including Sidehustles and Artist Friendly, the latter of which is hosted by Veeps co-founder and CEO Joel Madden and already released its first episode, an interview with Incubus’ Brandon Boyd.

Veep deets: The new subscription service is a change to Veeps' business model, which previously centered on pay-per-view concert streams. The company was founded by Joel and Benji Madden, members of the rock band Good Charlotte, and was one of several platforms that saw increased popularity during the pandemic as artists began livestreaming performances. Live Nation bought a majority stake in the company in 2021 and quickly began to install cameras and sound equipment in its venues to prepare for streaming.

Veeps has streamed shows from thousands of artists including Foo Fighters, Billie Eilish, Bob Dylan, Kings of Leon, Brandi Carlile and more.

What they're saying: "It was obvious that we needed to create a model that wasn’t limited to pay-per-view," Veeps Co-founder and CEO Joel Madden said in a statement. "An all-in music service like All Access is breaking new ground and we’re committed to setting a standard that is accessible for fans, compensates artists fairly, and continues to deliver the high-quality shows that we’ve become known for. All Access is the next iteration of Veeps as we head towards a future where every concert will be streamed."
